I began going to Groundwork as Suggested by a friend.
I had been thinking about going to a gym for quite awhile but after reviewing numerous gyms I was a little disappointed with the guidance I was going to receive.
From the first session with Karl I knew I was going to enjoy this experience on so many levels. I was able to complete certain lifts that I had never done before, without any injuries.
By visiting the gym regularly I feel much stronger and definitely making progress along the way. Although I was very sceptical about lifting weights, at my age, 64 and with little experience it has been a great learning curve for me. I feel stronger and I have better balance.
Lastly the people that I have met at the gym are very friendly so it also gives me a social connection. I would advise anyone to give it a go, you will not be disappointed.
