2 years ago after a bone scan indicated I was on my way to osteoporosis my GP suggested I chat to Karl at Groundwork Fitness. I followed through with this advice and have never looked back. Karl’s approach to strength training is different to any other gym I have attended. He has taught me the correct way to lift weights (much heavier than I had previously attempted) which in turn has improved my strength and bone density. My latest scan showed significant improvements in bone density. I can now feel confident to train independently and enjoy each session immensely. At 70 years of age I am feeling stronger than ever before and lifting weights I had never imagined.
